I'm an old school, "classical" writer, correspondent and broadcast journalist trained in the ways of the traditional American Fourth Estate.

Sadly, our numbers are dwindling. My kind is all but extinct. But a few of us are trying to keep the flame of a once-noble profession alight in the hope that one day it will experience a re-birth.

This site is my contribution to that effort. I hope you find my writings and podcast useful and informative, but never entertaining for the sake of being entertaining.

Please also keep in mind that the written word and the recorded production are a result of labor. Both of the mind and of the body. It's an activity that also requires an investment of time.
